Archil Talakvadze, Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia, responded to and expressed his sorrow over the death of the nurse who collapsed in anaphylactic shock after being vaccinated with AstraZeneca.

“I am very sad about the death of young nurse, Megi Bakradze. It is heartbreaking that we have lost a professional, dedicated young nurse who set an example for the public to fight the pandemic. It is unfortunate that despite the efforts of doctors, she could not be saved. On behalf of the Parliament of Georgia, I wholeheartedly sympathize with the family, relatives, friends, and colleagues of the deceased,” Talakvadze said.
