The Ministry of Culture reports that 22 Georgian students are currently studying at 17 arts institutions across nine European countries with the ministry’s financial support.
The program gives young Georgians the opportunity to pursue academic programs at leading arts institutions, including the University of Strasbourg, the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts, the University of Music and Theatre Munich, the Academy of Music in Osimo, the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus, the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory, the Royal Conservatories of Antwerp and Liège, the Saint Louis College of Music, and the Tosti International Singing Academy.
The students are pursuing their studies in France, Estonia, Germany, Italy, Denmark, Belgium and other European countries.
The ministry says the initiative aims to increase access to higher arts education, integrate young artists into international developments in contemporary art, boost their motivation, and support their professional and career development.
