The Dadiani Palaces Historical and Architectural Museum has won an International Travel Awards 2026 prize, being named Georgia’s Best Historical and Architectural Museum, the Ministry of Culture of Georgia says.
Giorgi Kalandia, director of the Art Palace, noted that the International Travel Awards is an international award that annually recognizes outstanding museums, cultural attractions, tourism companies, hotels, airlines and other organizations in the tourism and hospitality sector.
The competition places particular emphasis on visitor experience, service quality, hospitality standards and the overall impression an organization makes on its visitors.
“The scale of the International Travel Awards is also demonstrated by its list of winners,” Kalandia said. “In different years, the award has gone to such renowned international brands and tourist attractions as Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, W Verbier Switzerland and Radisson Blu.
“I especially congratulate David Okujava, Irakli Chitanava, Lili Beraya, Marina Kobalia, Nana Khubua and Nika Jologua! Congratulations to our entire team. We have even bigger goals ahead!”
Kalandia said the award is particularly important for the Dadiani Palaces Historical and Architectural Museum, describing it as one of Georgia’s outstanding historical and architectural complexes, where the country’s history, architecture and art come together.
