Coronavirus: Georgia Reports 2236 New Cases, 44 Deaths

Georgia Reports 2415 New Cases of Coronavirus, 26 Deaths

Georgia reported 2 236 coronavirus cases, 3 146 recoveries, and 44 deaths on Monday, the official figures show.

23 439 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country.

Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 946 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Adjara region with 499 cases, and the Imereti region with 177 cases.

The daily test-positivity rate now stands at 9,54 %, while it was 8,74% in the past 14 days.

Georgia’s total case tally reached 450 149, among them 403 762 people recovered and 6 128 died.

641 242 people got the coronavirus vaccine so far, among them, 197 118 are fully vaccinated.

The visit for vaccination can be booked on the electronic portal – booking.moh.gov.ge.
