A student of the Sighnaghi Art School, Mate Mchedlishvili has won first honorary place at the IX Ferenc Liszt International Competition, the Sighnaghi Municipality Association of Music and Art Schools announced.
The IX Ferenc Liszt International Competition is an international classical music competition, specifically for pianists, dedicated to the Hungarian composer and virtuoso pianist Franz Liszt (Ferenc Liszt).
