The Ministry of Education, Science and Youth announced that students living in Georgia’s occupied territories will be able to enroll in Georgian higher education institutions without taking the Unified National Examinations in 2026 and will receive full state funding at universities established by the Georgian government.
Registration for the program has already started and will continue until September 5, 2026.
The opportunity is available to applicants who live in the occupied territories, studied at general education institutions there during the past two years, and received a secondary education certificate recognized by the ministry.
Applications can be submitted in physical form to the administrations of state representatives in Gori, Kaspi, Kareli and Khashuri municipalities, as well as electronically to the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia.
