The Central Election Commission has started publishing the protocols sent from the precincts on its website.
At the moment, most of the protocols are uploaded from Akhalkalaki.
According to the Central Election Commission of Georgia, 51.92% of voters participated in the local self-government elections. By 20:00, 1,815,776 voters had cast their votes.
According to the Central Election Commission, the optimal time to announce the preliminary results of the local self-government elections is 7-8 hours after the closing of the polling stations.
The polling stations were closed at 20:00 countrywide, however, it may take longer than said 7-8 hours to publish the preliminary results and the procedure may even last until dawn.
