Georgia exported 14,700 tons of apples worth $11 million between January and June 2026, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture says.
Compared to the same period last year, the value of exports increased by 67%, or $4.5 million, while export volume rose by 37%, or 4,000 tons.
The ministry says apple exports totaled more than 24,000 tons between August 2025 and June 2026, marking the highest figure in recent years. Revenue from exported apples reached $18 million during the period.
Russia remained the main destination for Georgian apples, receiving more than 95% of the country’s total apple exports.
