Traffic will be restricted alternately at the Gori tunnels on the Tbilisi-Senaki-Leselidze highway between June 17–20 and June 22–25 due to road repair works, the Roads Department says.

The km 87–km 88 section of the internationally important highway will undergo pavement repairs and pothole restoration, along with other necessary works.

From June 17 at 08:00 to June 20, traffic in the Senaki-Tbilisi direction will be closed, with vehicles diverted to the Gori tunnels access road of internal importance.

From June 22 at 08:00 to June 25, the Tbilisi-Senaki direction will be closed. During this period, traffic in that direction will be redirected through the opposite tunnel lane, while Senaki-Tbilisi traffic will be diverted to the access road.

Authorities say the works require full or partial closures of the carriageway, with traffic redirected alternately to ensure movement through the area during the repair period.
