The annual Tbilisi Book Fair will run from April 10 to 13 at Expo Georgia’s Pavilion 11, offering numerous literary events for readers, publishers, and authors. This year’s theme is ‘Freedom through Books’ and emphasizes the role of literature in forming free and informed society.
Tbilisi Book Fair, organized by Georgian Publishers and Booksellers Association and supported by its general sponsor TBC and other partners like Veli Store and Polish Institute in Tbilisi, has a goal to enhance the country’s literary industry. The organizers have pointed out the importance of making literature accessible to a wider audience, “Creating a festive atmosphere for readers is our mission,” they stated.
The event will feature a wide selection of books from both major and independent publishers, including exclusive editions specifically made for the occasion. Attendees will also engage in discussions with famous authors and actors as part of schedules meetings and book signings. Visitors will also have the opportunity to utilize special discounts available only during the four-day event.
