The President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, congratulated Catholicos-Patriarch of Georgia, Ilia II on his birthday.
“His Holiness, on behalf of myself and every citizen of Georgia, I congratulate you on your 90th anniversary!
“I wish Georgia, with the help of the Lord, for you to be at the head of the Georgian Church for many more years,” wrote Zurabishvili.
Ilia II turned 90 years old.
