InterPressNews reports that a mother and her child were swept away by the current in the Khobistskali River in Khobi. The child’s body was found by a local resident and recovered from the river. Search and rescue operations for the mother are still ongoing.
Police, Emergency Management Service teams, and ambulance crews have been mobilized at the scene.
