There are elections both in Georgia and the US and the real reset of relations will start after the elections, – Dimitri Khundadze, the MP of People’s Power, told journalists.
He claimed that the recent statements made against the Georgian government are pre-election manipulation in favor of the radical opposition.
As Khundadze notes, the destruction of the opposition will end on October 26, and the reset mode will start from this period.
“Our principle is to take the long way and come home in peace, because peace, especially in this period, is of special importance. The long way will be of several months, because there are elections in the United States of America and in Georgia, and in fact, the reset will start right after the elections and the government will be legitimized by the society. There are all signs of this, all the surveys show this, and that is why, in view of these preliminary forecasts, external forces have been activated and the hopeless opposition is being helped from the outside, so that somehow they may enter the parliament,” Khundadze said.
