Foreign Ministers of Latvia, Estonia, Iceland and Lithuania, who are on an official working visit in Georgia, joined protesters on Rustaveli Avenue last night to protest against the “Transparency of Foreign Influence” law.
The Foreign Ministers joined the march to the Parliament.
The appearance of European politicians on Rustaveli Avenue was met with applause.
They claimed that, in such form, they wanted to show support and solidarity to the protesters against “Russian Law”.
After the speeches of the foreign ministers at the rally against the law “On transparency of foreign influence”, the anthems of Georgia and the European Union were performed.
The participants in the rally were chanting: “Europe”.
Within the framework of the visit to Georgia, the heads of the foreign ministries of four countries has already met with President Salome Zurabishvili, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, as well as the Speaker of the Parliament Shalva Papuashvili, the opposition and representatives of the non-governmental sector.
