The traditional Christmas villages in Tbilisi opened their doors this Saturday, bringing festive cheer to the Georgian capital despite the ongoing protests. Located at Orbeliani Square and in the recreational areas of Dedaena Park, the villages will remain open until January 7, offering a wide range of holiday activities.
Visitors can enjoy entrepreneurial and gastronomic markets, along with an exhibition and sale of handmade items. The Christmas villages also feature a Santa’s House, a workshop, and a children’s space, as well as an amusement park and an ice skating rink.
“Throughout the holiday season, the villages will host a variety of performances, including children’s concerts, fairytale characters, and theatrical acts. Evening events such as open-air cinema screenings and concerts will also take place, alongside a variety of entertainment activities for children,” Tbilisi City Hall announced.
