Ambassador of Italy Massimiliano D’Antuono and the Education Attaché of the Embassy, Ornella Spano, a lecturer invited by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs through international cooperation with Italy, visited Tbilisi State University, where they were met by Deputy Rector Erekle Astakhishvili and head of the Department of Romance Philology of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Western European Languages and Literature of the Faculty of Humanitarian Sciences, Maya Javakhidze.
At the meeting, which was attended by faculty lecturers and students, the ambassador spoke about the important contribution of TSU to the promotion of Italian language and culture, and the deepening of cooperation in the field of Italian language teaching in Georgia.
