The ruling Georgian Dream party announced on social media that it has won elections in every municipality across Georgia in the first round.
“We started in four and finished in four,” the party wrote, emphasizing a complete sweep of the local elections.
The party says Georgian Dream secured victories in all municipal councils and mayoral races without the need for runoffs.
