Iran’s foreign minister has accused the United States of crossing a ‘very big red line’ after U.S. B-2 bombers struck primary nuclear facilities at Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. The attack reportedly involved a 30,000-pound ‘bunker buster’ bomb, the first known operational use of the weapon.
Iran’s foreign minister declared that he doesn’t know how much “room is left for diplomacy,” warning that options for peaceful resolution may be fading.
While Iranian officials downplayed the damage, with one lawmaker called it ‘superficial’’ tensions remain high. The Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has yet to respond publicly.
