MEP Viola von Cramon: Both Sides Play Terrible Political Game on Backs of Their Citizens

The member of the European Parliament, Viola Von Cramon, wrote on Twitter that the health of former President of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, like other prisoners, is the responsibility of the Government of Georgia.

“Resolution on Saakashvili was adopted by an overwhelming majority. 576 colleagues and I agree: the health of Mikhil Saakashvili, like other prisoners, is a responsibility of the Government of Georgia. We need an urgent humanitarian solution ASAP, so Georgia can finally focus on other topics,” Cramon tweeted.

The European Parliament adopted a resolution on the condition of Saakashvili, urging the authorities to pardon and release him.
