The Georgian Roads Department has announced temporary restrictions on truck traffic along the Gomi–Sachkhere–Chiatura–Zestafoni highway from August 30 to September 4, 2025.
The restriction affects the km1–km41 section of the road where ongoing rehabilitation work is taking place specifically between km25 and km41. During this period, truck movements will be limited while all other types of vehicles can travel freely.
Officials pointed out that the measure is temporary and aims to ensure safety and efficiency during the construction works on this important intra-state route.
