Traffic restrictions have been imposed on a section of the Koda–Partskhisi–Manglisi–Akhaltsikhe–Ninotsminda road due to severe weather conditions, including heavy snowfall and reduced visibility.
The Roads Department of Georgia stated that movement of all types of vehicles is temporarily prohibited on the km94–km110 highway, which includes the Paravani Pass.
On the adjacent km110–km146 section of the same route, additional restrictions apply: trailers and semi-trailers are prohibited, while movement for other types of vehicles remains permitted
The restrictions have been introduced in response to hazardous driving conditions caused by snowstorms and limited visibility, which significantly increase safety risks on mountainous routes.
