Today, on April 15, a telephone conversation was held between the President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, and the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky.

‘The President of Georgia expressed concern over the situation on the Russian-Ukrainian border and in Crimea and expressed solidarity with Ukraine.

Zurabishvili stressed the need for Ukraine to withstand provocations and noted that it is necessary to move in the only direction of our common security, which is Euro-Atlantic integration.

The presidents of both countries stressed the importance of Black Sea security and the need to present joint goals of Georgia and Ukraine at NATO and EU summits in this regard, ‘reads the statement issued by the Presidential Administration.
