PM Garibashvili

“Our country cannot endure another lockdown,” stated Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili.

Garibashvili spoke before the government session about the importance of vaccination, noting it is important to protect human life and also important for maintaining the economy of the country.

“Our country cannot endure another lockdown. We will have to close again, people will lose their jobs and the situation will be unbearable.

“I want to make these preventive statements in advance and I do not want this to happen. Of course, then the country will need to take on additional debt, which will put a burden on our citizens, our country and will complicate the situation,” Garibashvili said.

The Prime Minister noted that the country has all the resources to vaccinate citizens as soon as possible.
