“We have mobilized all our resources to mitigate the consequences of this devastating war. We have never refused to support our historical partners and friends in Ukraine at such an important time for our region. We stand firmly by the international community and express our full solidarity with Ukraine. We will continue to support Ukraine in both political and practical terms, in bilateral and multilateral formats,” Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili said while addressing a charity session of the high level International Donors’ Conference for Ukraine ongoing in Poland.
The head of the Government noted that the war in Ukraine has led to a severe humanitarian crisis in the region, which requires the international community to take immediate action.
“We condemn Russia’s large-scale aggression against Ukraine, which grossly violates the fundamental principles and norms of international law and the UN Charter and poses an unprecedented challenge to the European security architecture. The consequences of the war in Ukraine will define the future architecture of European security and lay the foundation for a new security framework in our region and beyond.
“The war in Ukraine has sparked a severe humanitarian crisis in the region that calls for immediate action by the international community. My Government expresses unconditional solidarity with its Ukrainian partners. We have mobilized all our resources to mitigate the consequences of this devastating war. We have never refused to support our historical partners and friends in Ukraine at such an important time for our region. We stand firmly by the international community and express our full solidarity with Ukraine. We will continue to support Ukraine in both political and practical terms, in bilateral and multilateral formats,” he said.
