The founder of “Mtavari Arkhi,” Nika Gvaramia who is currently in prison, released a statement thanking Human Rights Watch for making a clear statement.
“I would like to express my gratitude to one of the most authoritative international human rights organizations, Human Rights Watch, for the clear and unambiguous conclusion on my political imprisonment with the highest qualification and great accuracy,” he wrote.
Gvaramia noted that he is patiently waiting for his case to be examined in the European Court of Human Rights.
“I call on the Supreme Court of Georgia to finish the examination of my case in a timely manner. Obviously, I do not have expectations of being justified. The only thing I ask is that they issue a verdict known to everyone in advance so that I can apply to the Strasbourg court and fight there to prove my right,” Gvaramia unfolded.
