The sector accommodated a total of GEL 4.2 billion in new mortgage loans throughout 2024 despite the slowdown associated with the end of the year, reflecting a 12% increase on top. Growth was documented every month except January and December, emphasizing positive trends in the mortgage markets despite seasonal fluctuations.
