The Georgian national rugby team hosted the Italian national team and defeated them 28:19 in a tough battle.
Levan Maisashvili’s team won the first half with a 6-point advantage, 19:13. In the second half, the team managed to increase their advantage and won 28:19.
This is a historic success, seeing the Georgian national team managing to defeat this “Six Nations” team for the first time.
The game was held in the Black Sea city of Batumi, at Adjarabet Arena.
