On May 11, following the official Europe Day annual celebration at Expo Georgia, an estimated 20,000 Georgians and Georgia-supporters filled the streets of the capital city to protest the ruling party’s plans to bring in a foreign agents’ transparency law, commonly known as the “Russian Law.”
Chanting and singing, blind to the wet weather, the participants from every walk of life and every age marched side-by-side along the river bank to Europe Square and Old Tbilisi.
Their message was clear: No to the Russian Law!
