The Ministry of Culture and Sports has shared the news that celebrated Georgian writer Zaal Samadashvili has passed away, expressing condolences. Primarily known for works like ‘Gipsies’ and ‘Plekhanovi Stories’, Samadashvili, whose literary career began in Tsiskari, greatly contributed to Georgian literature.
Samadashvili was also known as a screenwriter, with some of his most notable works being ‘Temo’ and ‘Garsevani’.
In their social media post, the Ministry of Culture expressed deep sorrow and extended condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues.
