The State Employment Promotion Agency has opened applications for funding short-term professional training and retraining courses. As the official announcement says, both public and private educational institutions can submit the required documentation between August 11 and August 22.

Deputy Minister of Health, Giorgi Tsagareishvili, emphasized that the training programs are designed to strengthen citizens’ skills and facilitate their rapid employment. The state fully finances these courses and the number of beneficiaries continues to grow each year.

Tsagareishvili also stressed the importance of increased participation by educational centers, especially those in regional areas, encouraging them to actively apply for the program.

Currently, the Employment Promotion Agency collaborates with nearly 30 private and public colleges nationwide. The short-term professional training courses last from one to three months and cover diverse fields such as computer programs, aesthetics, beauty services, accounting, hospitality, culinary arts, engineering, home care, special needs education and early childhood education.

In the current year, the agency has fully funded over 2,000 citizens across more than 80 short-term courses in high-demand professions, with many participants already employed. In 2024, nearly 3,700 job seekers took part in the program and acquired new professional skills with agency support.

To enroll in these short-term courses, applicants must visit the State Employment Agency’s service centers nationwide, register and select their preferred professional field.
