Georgia hosts Trojan Footprint military exercise for fourth time

Georgia is hosting the multinational military exercise Trojan Footprint for the fourth time, US Embassy in Georgia announced.

In a statement released on social media, the Embassy said the exercise, led by US Special Operations Forces Europe, is among the largest ongoing military drills in the region and officially launched last week.

Embassy says the multinational exercise aims to strengthen cooperation among partner countries, improve interoperability with NATO, and enhance joint readiness in support of regional security.

“The 2026 exercise will involve approximately 1,000 US service members and 2,000 service members from NATO allies and partner nations,” the statement said.

Trojan Footprint is an annual multinational special operations exercise conducted across Europe to improve coordination and preparedness among allied and partner forces in addressing shared security challenges.
