The former deputy head of the State Security Service of Georgia Soso Gogashvili has been interrogated by a representative of the Special Investigation Service.
One of his lawyers, Ramaz Chinchaladze, said that the interrogation lasted for about three hours.
The questioning of Soso Gogashvili supposedly concerned the statement that Gogashvili published recently, where he wrote that the phone number of lawyer Dimitri Mchedlishvili was given to him on the instructions of the Minister of Internal Affairs, Vakhtang Gomelauri.
Gogashvili claimed that Dimitri Mchedlishvili is an “agent of the Prosecutor’s Office” and he told him what testimony was required from him.
The former deputy head of the Security Service further claimed that the Bar Association and the Special Investigation Service should be interested in Dimitri Mchedlishvili’s case.
