City Council Members In Lagodekhi, Chiatura & Terjola Leave The Georgian Dream

City Council members from the Georgian Dream in Lagodekhi, Chiathura and Terjola left the party. They note that this decision was made in support of those MPs who left the Georgian Dream recently – in particular, Mikheil Kavelashvili, Dimitri Khundadze and Sozar Subar.

At the same time, the members of the Councils express their concern towards the US Ambassador, Kelly Degnan, due to her response to the letter by Mikheil Kavelashvili.

Nika Samkharadze, the deputy chairman of the Georgian Dream faction of the Chiatura City Council, Giorgi Gambashidze, the deputy chairman of the Lagodekhi City Council, and Omar Jikhvashvili, the deputy chairman of the Georgian Dream faction of the Terjola City Council, left their positions and the party.
