“This morning, the prison administration came and told me that I should follow the police. Of course, I refused. I’m not going to attend the session of this court of slaves. This is not a court. This is a group of servants of the Russian regime. Therefore, neither I nor my lawyer will cooperate with this system. I have no problem with being in isolation cell. No to the Russian regime!”, Khoshtaria declares.
According to the legislation of Georgia, the Ministry of Internal Affairs must release the founder of the “Droa” party from detention or request an extension of the detention period by 24 hours until 16:37 today. The Ministry of Internal Affairs also has the possibility to immediately release Elene Khoshtaria based on the signature.
Law enforcers arrested 16 people yesterday who protested the wedding of relatives of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Kvareli.
Khoshtaria was demanding the admission of a lawyer to those detained at the rally near the Kvareli Lake hotel, during which she was arrested.
