Heavy rain and strong winds caused flooding and traffic disruptions across several parts of Tbilisi on Monday, with authorities warning that severe weather is expected to continue for several more days.
Torrential rainfall flooded streets in the Didi Dighomi district, with videos shared on social media showing roads submerged by water.
Strong winds also brought down a tree on Aghmashenebeli Alley, blocking traffic on the roadway.
Near the Vazha-Pshavela metro station, part of the road collapsed as a result of the severe weather.
The National Emergency Response Center (112) sent emergency alert messages to residents, warning of the adverse weather conditions.
Authorities say unstable weather is expected to persist across Georgia for the next several days.
