“Ambassadori Island Batumi” Begins Construction of the Second Peninsula

The construction of the two peninsulas of “Ambassadori Island Batumi” is progressing actively. A total of 25 hectares of land has already been formed, exceeding a quarter of the entire project area and advancing the investment commitments by five years.

“Twenty-five hectares of the two peninsulas have already been formed—23 hectares on the western peninsula, while work on the second peninsula has just begun, with 2 hectares completed at this stage. In this regard, we have achieved truly phenomenal results,” ,” said Gocha Kamkia, Chief Executive Officer of Ambassadori Island Batumi.

The island project is being implemented by ‘Ambassadori Group’ in collaboration with various international companies.

“Among our partners are leading architectural and engineering firms, including Yüksel Proje, which designed two operational international airports—Ordu-Giresun Airport and Trabzon Airport—on artificially constructed land 70 km from Batumi in the Black Sea,” Kamkia noted. “Additionally, we are collaborating with the British company Arup, which has been involved in the planning of numerous cities worldwide. We also hosted international experts and economists from London, who presented a detailed analysis of the project’s economic indicators.”

At the company’s request, nearly 40 studies were conducted by international and local companies. Based on the results, all technical and engineering decisions were made, ensuring the sustainability and safety of the construction of the two peninsulas and the island. Special attention is given to implementing measures that mitigate environmental impact at every stage of the project’s development.

49% of the territory on the two peninsulas and the island will be dedicated to publicly accessible recreational areas, including forest parks, walking trails, sports fields, and wellness spaces. The project area will also feature educational and healthcare facilities, hotels, apartments, residences, luxury villas, helipads, and a yacht club.
