The US Embassy in Georgia has released a statement following the recent meeting between Senior Advisor Wyatt Toehlke, Ambassador Robin Dunnigan, and Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili.
The Embassy says the meeting focused on the state of US-Georgia relations. “Ambassador Dunnigan and Senior Advisor Toehlke met with Foreign Minister Bochorishvili today to discuss the US-Georgia relationship,” the statement reads.
The United States emphasized that it is continuing to assess its approach to Georgia in line with advancing American interests. The Embassy also underscored that Washington has clearly outlined the steps the Georgian government must take to demonstrate a genuine commitment to strengthening ties with the United States.
