According to Vakhtang Beridze, the mayor of Khulo municipality, an avalanche hit the central road in Tago village of Khulo municipality. No-one was injured as a result of the incident. He said that due to heavy rainfall, electricity has been cut off from several villages.
According to the information of the Adjara Roads Department, both central and internal rural roads are being cleared.
