A major international tennis tournament, LOPOTA TENNIS OPEN, has officially opened and is now in full swing at the Lopota Spa Resort.
The resort is hosting the world-class sporting event for the third consecutive year. This year’s competition began on April 26 and will run through May 9, featuring two separate tournaments.
The 2026 edition has expanded in scale, combining both W75 and W50 categories, marking a significant upgrade in status and competitiveness.
The tournament is held under the auspices of the International Tennis Federation (ITF) and organized by the Georgian Tennis Federation. It brings together professional female tennis players from more than 20 countries.
LOPOTA TENNIS OPEN is the largest and highest-category tennis tournament ever hosted in Georgia to date.
The event is supported by Georgia’s Ministry of Sport, with “Mtis” water serving as the official sponsor.
