Wissol Group has opened its 17th Subway branch as a result of an exclusive franchise deal with Subway International BV. The new restaurant, situated at a Wissol gas station on the right bank of the Mtkvari River, adjoins other facilities such as Dunkin’, Smart supermarket, and Vinto car service. Soso Pkhakadze, president of Wissol Group, attended the opening event.
To date, 12 locations of Subway have been opened in Tbilisi, and five more in regions. The company’s goal is to expand to 80 Subway restaurants nationwide in the next few years.
Wissol Group, a prominent competitor in Georgia’s food service industry, manages 121 restaurants in Georgia, affiliated with brands like Subway, Wendy’s, and Dunkin’ Donuts.
