The Vaso Abashidze State New Theater is bringing its performances to regions across Georgia, Davit Doiashvili, the artistic director, announced Thursday.
“Along with people, Georgian culture is being arrested,” Doiashvili stated, touching upon the challenges faced by the cultural sector. Despite video appeals, paused performances, and petitions, the theater received no response from the prosecutor’s office.
