Head of the burn center, Guga Kashibadze, said that in Georgia two cases of burn by fig sap were noted this year, one in Tbilisi, and another in Kutaisi.
“In the burn center, a 14-year-old girl was treated for burn by fig sap. She had a third degree injury. However the cases of burn by fig sap are in general decreasing,” Kashibadze notes.
