There are major traffic restrictions in Vake District due to a four-month rehabilitation project on Kakutsa Cholokashvili and Giorgi Tsereteli streets. As a result, there are major delays in the surrounding proximity.
As the local authorities declared, restrictions began at midnight on May 22 and are expected to last for four months.
Vehicle movement is currently delayed on the bridge connecting the gardens area to the university, with congestion also reported on the Tskneti highway.
The public is urged to plan alternate routes and allow extra travel time. The city government says the works are part of broader infrastructure upgrades aimed at easing long-term traffic flow and improving road conditions.
