Tbilisi City Hall published a statement, according to which large-scale works are planned in the Metekhi tunnel, whereby the inner and outer perimeter of the tunnel will be cleaned.
Due to the planned works, the traffic in the Metekhi tunnel will be restricted from 21:00 on April 16 to 17:00 on April 17.
Drainage wells will be cleaned by the Department of Operation of Drainage and Drainage Networks of Tbilservice Group, and the network will be flushed with a combined specialized machine. Employees of the Outdoor Lighting Operations Department will replace old and decommissioned lamps.
