This morning, the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested a total of 16 people during the rally on Chavchavadze and Melikishvili avenues in Tbilisi.
MIA says all 16 persons were detained in an administrative manner and say that three have been released so far.
Participants of the rally, who spent the night on Chavchavadze Avenue last night, were called by the law enforcement officers to disband at dawn today.
On their refusal, the law enforcers destroyed the tents belonging to the protesters. There was also a physical confrontation between some participants of the rally and law enforcement officers.
After the dispersal, the protesters moved to Melikishvili Street, where they are currently gathering by the Philharmonic Hall.
