PM Garibashvili

Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili stated at a government meeting, the epidemic situation in the country to be calm from October, but he added “of course we should not loosen up and we should continue to work as mobilized as possible.”

The Prime Minister noted, no citizen should be left without care, the only solution in this situation is vaccinations and everyone should be called on to get a vaccination. The Prime Minister says million people will be vaccinated in the nearest future.

“Our goal should be to vaccinate two million of our citizens by the end of September, some of whom will be vaccinated once, some twice,” he added as Georgian doctors and scientists say, from October the situation will be relatively stabilized.

“The situation will calm down, but before that, we must be mobilized and the situation must be managed,” Garibashvili said.
