Opposition MPs will file a lawsuit with the Constitutional Court against the Law on Transparency of Foreign Influence adopted by the Parliament at the initiative of the ruling majority.
At this moment, members of the parliamentary opposition are signing the constitutional lawsuit in the Parliament. Reportedly, 32 opposition Members of Parliament will sign the lawsuit.
The opposition demands from the Constitutional Court the recognition of non-compliance of the Law on Transparency of Foreign Influence with Articles 22 and 78 of the Constitution and its cancellation.
President Salome Zurabishvili and the non-governmental sector also appealed the law to the Constitutional Court.
