Municipal Transport to be Restricted from August 14 to September 4

Municipal traffic will be restricted from August 14 to September 4, said Giorgi Gibradze, Chief of the Operational Staff at the Interagency Coordination Council.

The restriction does not apply to intercity transport.

He noted that the epidemiological situation in Georgia is difficult, mainly due to the wide circulation of new strains.

5128 new cases of coronavirus have been detected in Georgia in the last 24 hours. The virus has killed another 49 people.
