“There is no doubt that the whole country agrees, every social group in Georgia has expressed a great protest against this bill. This law harms the dignity of our fellow citizens, declaring them as spies, this law contradicts Article 78 of the Constitution of Georgia and it may create a significant barrier in terms of receiving the status of a candidate in the EU,” said one of the leaders of the party Citizens, Levan Ioseliani.
As the politician noted, he would try to interact with the Chairman of the Committee Anri Okhanashvili, and help MPs get back to the hall.
Citizens have nominated Ioseliani as a candidate for Public Defender.
