Goethe-Institut Georgien will host the Maiklang Festival in Tbilisi from May 28 to 31, bringing together musicians from Georgia, Germany, Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Festival organizers say the event will focus on songwriting, featuring artists performing their own original music across different venues in the capital. Admission will be free.
The festival grew out of a creative collaboration launched in Berlin in 2025 through Sonic Crossings, a program of Pop-Kultur Festival initiated by the Music Department of the Goethe-Institut together with European partners.
“What started in Berlin now unfolds in Tbilisi,” organizers state, noting that the four-day program will feature concerts in various spaces across the city.
